In the UK, the main cat registry is GCCF, but you will also find kittens that are registered with TICA and Fife. We have included all three in the list above. Click on the type link at the top of the page to get information about the different breed standards
Before you buy a kitten please make sure that you can see the registration certificate and when you pick up the cat make sure you are given the certificate as it has the details that you will need to transfer kitten in to your name. Don't be caught out by adverts claiming that kittens are pedigree but have not been registered. If the kitten is not registered then it is not a pedigree. It most likely means that the kitten has been breed from an unregistered parent and that the pedigree of the kitten cannot be verified.
